Bio

Born in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, Nkosi spent his early teenage years in rural Matabeleland North, Nkayi, Gwelutshena at Zidulini. An open minded, cheerful and fun loving person, Nkosi stated singing during his early childhood days at both his local church and school. Nkosi is currently resident in the United Kingdom since 2002 and has performed in various gatherings as both soloist and/or with his band The Experience.



He also serves as Director of Music for The Shepherds Quartet. Besides music and song writing, Nkosi is also patron for his former school Zidulini in Matabeleland North, Zimbabwe where he is spearheading a development project for the school. Nkosi has a strong passion for music and poetry; he loves music; he lives music – in fact it will suffice to say music and singing is what he knows best.

 

Ndlovu has two albums ‘Umusa-Grace’ (2007) and ‘Hamba Jonah’ (2010). Songs from these albums are Nkosi’s original compositions and re-arrangements. His third album is due on November 5, 2011 and will be launched in a live concert in West Bromwich, Birmingham, England.
